The National Geographic joins conservation biologist Zeb Hogan in the Amazon on a mission to track down and study the infamous Payara, or "vampire fish." The Payara uses its two long fangs, which protrude from its lower jaw, to immobilize its prey.

Swiss glaciers melting faster than ever before
A study by the Swiss University ETH shows that Switzerland's glaciers shrank by 12 percent over the past decade, melting at their fastest rate due to rising temperatures and lighter snowfalls, showed Monday.
